A Vinology Intimate Wedding

This Ann Arbor wedding at Vinology was a photographer's dream! Ditching the traditional venue, A & R opted for a celebration that felt more like a stylish dinner party with their nearest and dearest. The day began with the couple and their family relaxing at a local Airbnb, where I captured all the pre-wedding jitters and joyous anticipation. Next stop? The breathtaking Matthaei Botanical Gardens for portraits amongst early April flowers. Finally, Vinology's intimate setting, with its warm lighting and incredible wine selection, provided the perfect backdrop for their heartfelt ceremony and reception. Everywhere I turned there were genuine smiles, delicious food, and overflowing glasses – a testament to the love this couple shared and the joy of celebrating with close friends and family. It was a truly unforgettable "I do" captured in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor!

While they did not utilize Matthaei for there ceremony, this
University of Michigan garden allows wedding parties to use their conservatory and manicured gardens with a fee ($100 for 30 minutes) and this must be booked in advance (unlike engagement sessions). This is a fabulous option for couples who want a gorgeous portrait location with a solid rain option already in place.
